The story starts with an arranged marriage which is strange in the 21st century. However, there are rules and orders have to be followed in the palace. As a member of the imperial family, Shin has no choice but to accept the agreement of marriage. On the other side, Chae-kyeong’s family receives the message of palace asks for the keepsake ring given by the late Emperor Seongjo to Chae-kyeong’s grandfather. The ordinary family sees this as a super great news but for the ordinary 19-year-old teen girl it is a super bad news.
Chae-kyeong marries to Shin and starts her 19-year-old marriage life. Facing a prince that doesn’t usually express his feeling and emotion, the cheerful Chae-kyeong tries her best to adapt to the palace life as well as the marriage life.
